Even so, both sides found common ground. The card now streams globally on Paramount+, with DAZN carrying it exclusively across the UK and Ireland.

His route to this title fight has hardly been smooth. Garcia served a lengthy doping suspension after testing positive for a banned substance, following his win over Devin Haney.
