Who Will Win Today’s Test Match Between Australia and South Africa? III Test
Beginning on January 4, Australia and South Africa cricket square off in Sydney for the third and final Test of the three-match series. The 2021–2023 ICC World Test Championship, which includes the series, is gradually drawing to an end. With victories in the first two Test matches, Australia has already taken the series. They are also in first place in the WTC points chart.
On the points chart, South Africa has fallen to fifth place. In the second Test, they were defeated by an innings. They have dropped each of their last four Test games overall. They suffered two losses in September to England and two in December against Australia.
In a Test series earlier this year against India, South Africa last appeared to be in complete control. Dean Elgar served as their captain, and they prevailed 2-1 in a three-match series. They won the series by rallying from a deficit. They have, however, come off as a timid team during this current series, and their batters haven’t been able to match the pace of the Australian trio of Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Scott Boland.
Australia has chosen to rest Mitchell Starc and Cameron Green for the final Test because they have already won the series. They both have finger injuries and will be absent from the last test. The third Test roster includes Matt Renshaw and Ashton Agar.
David Warner, who has 203 runs from two Test matches, now has the most runs scored. The player with the most wickets so far in the series is Kagiso Rabada, who has ten. The bowler contributed two four-wicket hauls to this total.
